View the latest information from S.I.R.A. President, Jamie SowdersBeen a while since the last update but we here at SIRA have been very busy.....We are proud to add the Greenwood G.P. to our schedule and would also like to let everyone know we have a meeting set for the 18th of this month to iron out the fine details for the 2012 season. Some things to be discussed are rules concerning fuel and axel size for the 4 cycle classes as well as adding the Hoosier 60a's to the 2 cycle classes. Our schedule is now complete; all events have been confirmed and signed with the exception of Brownsburg which will be removed. We also need to let everyone know that the LUCAS OIL RACEWAY event will start during the day and finish under the lights. As soon as I get the lay out I will post it up for all to see....oh yea and did I mention that the good people from Ikart will be giving away a new chassis to one lucky driver at LUCAS OIL RACEWAY. That’s right; every entry gives you a chance to win. Enter one class get one ticket; enter more classes get more chances. Hope to see everyone there. I have also had several calls and e-mails wanting a catch all class to be run at $25 with no trophies or points so the guys with vintage equiptment can get a little track time. So all of you guys that have classic karts just gathering dust.....bring it Some things to remember: kid kart members race for free and all jr. classes will get a heat race and pre final then a feature on all 2 day events for 2012 season. On another note, I just want to say thank you all for allowing me to be a part of the greatest street racing series on the planet |
