SIRA Crowns 2014 Class Champions and Special Award Winners
The Southern Indiana Racing Association celebrated the achievements of our great drivers, Saturday evening November 15th, at the SIRA Awards Banquet. Tradition concluded the 2014 race season at the Season’s Conference & Banquet Center, at Nashville, Indiana with nearly 150 racers, family members and friends. Rib eye steak and grilled chicken with all the trimmings was the feast of champions again this year – a dinner that this karting group has come to expect!
This year’s ceremonies included a variety of year end awards and prizes, handed out ceremoniously to the humor of Tony Weiske, well-earned to their recipients. Champions were presented the coveted SIRA Dewey Trophy in addition to rings, and a variety of additional prizes with the help of our sponsors – Dover Power, Hoosier Tire, Kart City Performance, and Parsons Racing Supply. A variety of interesting appreciation speeches, mixed well with raffle prize drawings, made for an evening of fun by most everyone in attendance.

Special Tire Discount brought to you by Hoosier Racing Tire
SIRA has worked out an agreement with Hoosier Racing Tire to supply tires at discounted pricing for the benefit of our membership. Non-members may also purchase for a slight fee, but still very competitive pricing. This is an initiative to supply a quality product and help everyone's budget. Please p.m. Jay Burgess (e-mail or Facebook) with sizes and compound for pricing and purchase details. While we maintain no "exclusive" vendors, we appreciate Hoosier extending us this deal.
